Under the Organization of Turkic States' framework, the Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers was established, where TEG Heavy Projects became one of the first members among logistics companies in Uzbekistan.
The Alliance will promote the development of trucking and logistics centers in the OTS countries.
"TEG Heavy Projects is pleased to welcome the establishment of the Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers by the Organization of Turkic States and we were among the first in Uzbekistan to express our readiness and become members of the alliance. We are witnessing rapid economic growth in the OTG member countries, and now, more than ever, the issue of creating a common transportation network in the region is acute. The alliance will make it possible to coordinate and harmonize the actions of the GTC countries to form a unified and efficient transport network. We see the importance of creating an alliance for the development of logistics, increasing cargo flows and creating favorable conditions for carriers. This will ultimately have a positive impact on the development of transport and related industries, as well as on the economy of the region as a whole." - said Mr. Sultanbek Kayumov, General Director of TEG Heavy Projects.
The organization united legal entities and individuals engaged in logistics and cargo transportation, engineering works and consulting services in this sphere.
One of the main objectives of the alliance is to expand effective cooperation between major logistics centers, shippers, terminals, sea and land ports in the Turkic countries, to increase the transport and logistics potential of the entire region through the introduction of innovative solutions.
Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are members of the TNA, Hungary and Turkmenistan have observer status.
